Sean and Pete made a good impression on us the very first time they visited, with their punctual arrival and professional attitude.
That impression was reinforced throughout the course of work to our extension. They were always there when they said they would be (and let us know if something unexpected happened) and kept to the “one job at a time” principle that had attracted us in the first place.
They and Ricky were always a pleasure to have around, and friendly and patient with our children (two inquisitive, talkative boys and baby girl). We all missed them when they left!
The quality of the work, and the speed with which it was done, was hard to fault. Sean and Pete dealt effectively with Planning and Building Control, even managing to negotiate an alteration to the plans that has significantly improved the end result for us. At the end of every day, things were left tidy and clean, and the disruption inside the house (even when knocking through four walls) was kept to a minimum.
The other tradesman that they engaged or recommended were equally professional.
The work was started on time and completed a week early, and for the estimated cost. We are delighted with our extension and have already recommended S. & P. Hewitt to several friends. We would not hesitate to go to them for any future work.
