We are writing with regard to our two storey extension built by S & P Hewitt. Work was started in November 2003 and completed in early part of 2004. Despite work taking place during the winter months it was completed in the time estimated during the original quote. Sean and Pete’s work has been of the highest quality with the site left in a safe, neat and tidy condition each evening. Work was also carried out with the minimum of disruption to the existing living accommodation.
I would not hesitate to recommend S & P Hewitt to anyone considering having this type of work carried out. We would also like to add that the same can be said of the other contractors (Joiner, Electricians, Plasterers, Window Fitters etc.) It is obvious that Sean and Pete have spent a great deal of time putting together a team whose work is of the highest quality. There are always doubts and reservations in a persons mind when undertaking a major building project and at a time when reliable tradespeople can be extremely difficult to find. It was refreshing to have Sean and Pete as part of the family for a few months.
Anyone driving past is more than welcome to stop and have a look to reassure themselves that they will be contracting for a job well done.
Finally (to use a builders term), please be prepared to allow a provisional sum of £30 per week for tea and coffee.
